Morning Shift Loader/Operator

Our client is a well-established industry leader in steel processing, with a strong national presence and a proud reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Loader to join their production team in their Newcastle-based facility.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely load and unload steel products onto trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes
  
• Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with safety procedures
  
• Work closely with dispatch and production teams to meet daily schedules
  
• Maintain clean and organised work areas to support safety and efficiency
  
• Follow all site safety guidelines and contribute to a positive work environment
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Forklift licence essential
  
• Overhead crane experience highly regarded
  
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  
• Team player with good communication skills
  
• Previous experience in steel or heavy manufacturing (desirable but not essential)
